The Federal League was disbanded during the winter.

The league was planning on moving another team into the lucrative New York City area by relocating the Kansas City Packers. Plans were drawn up to build a new stadium at 145th street, between Lennox and Fifth Avenues.

Brooklyn was also tinkering with the idea of playing some of their home games under the light.
